Cornhusker Bank is pleased to announce Brian bates has been added to the bank team and will serve as Vice President / Chief Audit Executive. Andrew Hilger has also joined the bank and will assume the role of Head of Credit Analysis.

Barry Lockard, Chairman / CEO of Cornhusker Bank, reports that Bates and Hilger bring with them a wealth of banking experience. Bates’ more than 30 years of banking experience has qualified him to operate the bank‘s internal audit program competently and within all regulatory requirements. Hilger’s expertise in analyzing credit documentation is proving to be an invaluable asset to the bank.

Mr. Bates is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors and holds the designation of Certified Financial Services Auditor. He is the Treasurer of Sons of American Legion Post 244 at Ceresco and is an active press volunteer for American Legion Summer Baseball. Bates reports that he is happy to be part of the Cornhusker Bank team because “there is a culture of caring and compassion that resonates throughout the organization”.

Andrew Hilger has ten years of banking experience. He is an annual volunteer for Paint-A-Thon. He said his credit administration team was eager to hear his suggestions and the different ideas he brings to the table based on his past experiences. He said: “I am very grateful to work for a community-driven bank that cares deeply about customers and their employees.
