Community Bank Delaware recently announced the promotion of Christopher Benjamin to senior vice president of the lending group.

Benjamin joined the bank in 2016 and has been successful in growing his loan portfolio, building new relationships and managing existing clients.

“Chris is a significant contributor to the bank’s loan growth. He brings enthusiasm and reliability to the lending team and the community by building and maintaining client relationships,” said William Jack Riddle, President of Community Bank Delaware.

Benjamin’s office is in Lewes, where he continues to focus on growing the bank’s personal and business loan portfolio across Sussex County. He works with clients on all facets of residential real estate lending and with small business clients on their lending and deposit needs.

“It is important that I continue to work with and support the community in which I live. Decisions are made here locally with the best interests of our customers in mind, which is a strong value that Community Bank Delaware and I have in common,” said Benjamin.

Benjamin is a board member of Epworth Christian School and previously served on the board of Sussex Academy. He and his wife Rachel reside in Lewes; they have six children.
