Moulden moved to National League south side Ebbsfleet United and Sondergaard joined National League north assistant Hereford.

The pair have both figured a lot for the academy. Moulden joined Wolves last summer and trained with the first team – while also benching in Premier League matches on a number of occasions.

Sondergaard joined Randers on a six-month loan this summer in his first move away from Molineux.

Matt Jackson, head of strategic player marketing for Wolves, said: “When looking for a goalkeeper loan, every club needs to look lower down the pyramid. When a club in the league wants a goalkeeper, they usually want experience and there are always several experienced goalkeepers floating around in the system.

“That means the only way for young goalkeepers to gain experience, especially for their first away loan, is to go to a different level, but you still have shots to save, you still have bodies around you on set pieces and the pitches might not be at the same level they’ve been used to, so it’s a fantastic learning experience.

“The good thing about Ebbsfleet and Hereford’s position in the pyramid is that we can watch both players closely, we can bring them back into the building regularly and we can keep their training standards very high, all continuing to develop the goalie network that Scott Fry has been so successful in developing.

“Louie and Andreas will have to deal with the physical aspect of the men’s game and all the difficult elements of goalkeeping. They will make some mistakes, which we all do at the beginning of our career, but the challenge is to learn from them, to progress and to show a very good spirit to improve their development.

Meanwhile, Spaniard Erik Bugarin is back in his homeland on a permanent deal with La Liga side Elche CF.

The striker, who joined Wolves as a freshman in the summer of 2019 after progressing through Celta Vigo’s academy, has seen his time in the old gold and black disrupted due to injury concerns , making just 24 appearances for the under-18s. -23s in all competitions.
